We are currently raising funds to assist with new hearing aids for Kenyan children with a hearing impairment.
Life is made even more difficult for these children because of their situation. They are marginalized and excluded socially.
For every $2,000.00 we raise, 12 more children can be part of the hearing world.
The children who are identified as possible beneficiaries are orphaned or living in situations of poverty. They are evaluated medically by hearing specialists to determine if they can benefit from a hearing aid.
There are currently 198 such children who have been identified in 6 schools in this region by our project coordinator in Kenya. We have had 48 children fitted so far this year and hope to see that number climb with your help.
