The volunteer team this year included SFA members, Darlene, Wendy, Mary & Emanuela. We were also happy to have with us the youthful energy of Lucas, Hilary and then Alexis who joined us for part of the trip. It was a great working visit to the projects with a chance for some hands -on work such as painting the newly renovated dormitory for Mukumu Children's Home and sewing blankets with the disabled children at St. Ursula Special School. We were delighted to be under the expert care of our much -loved driver John and to be reunited with old friends and to meet many new ones. While we were over in Kenya we got the exciting news confirmed that SUITCASES FOR AFRICA IS NOW A FULLY REGISTERED CANADIAN CHARITY !
