This project involved construction of a large storage building for the cut wood. Funds were also donated for the purchase of a power saw to be shared by the members plus initial capital for the purchase of trees. Firewood is now sold to local communities and to a nearby restaurant. The money raised by this income generating project can now fund a food program (see bottom photo) and educational materials for an early childhood initiative.
